And you thought your last flight was memorable...

Adventure seekers looking to take the ride of their lives have reason to celebrate today.

VirtualTourist.com just released its Top 10 list of Unique Rides. Forget about jet planes, massive ocean liners and pimped out cars, the following modes of transport are wilder than anything you have ever boarded.

Take a look:

KENYA

Ostrich rides are all the rage in Nairobi, Kenya. The big birds recently knocked the elephant off the list of most popular rides. According to tour operators, the ostrich is the animal equivalent of a unicycle and riders might have to take a few tries to find their balance.

INDIA

Rickshaws in India are considered by some as death machines, while adrenaline junkies call them glorified golf carts. Either way they offer white-knuckle adventures for thrill seekers.

EGYPT

Camel rides are the most popular attraction in Egypt. They are called desert taxis and can carry you, your luggage and a few souvenirs without breaking a sweat.

TURKEY

Hot air balloon rides are one of the only reasons tourists willingly to get up at the crack of dawn on their holiday. Most who try it agree that there's no better way to watch the sun come up and take in the sights of Turkey's ancient landscape.

NEPAL

Ox-cart rides in Nepal are great for short trips, though you wouldn't want to use the mode of transport to travel long distances. Most ox-cart drivers offer trips through Nepal's rugged, rural terrain.

SWITZERLAND

As long as you can yell "mush!" you can take part in a dog sled ride in Bern, Switzerland. Riders call it an invigorating experience and one you will not likely forget.

NEW ZEALAND

A Zorb, or giant inflatable ball, is the mode of transport for thrill seekers in New Zealand. Riders get a serious adrenaline rush as they fly downhill in a Zorb. Single and tandem "rolls" can be arranged, and those with weak stomachs can ask for a little water in their capsule to insure a smooth ride.
