Ways to Save While in Hawaii

As I mentioned in a previous blog finding travel deals to Hawaii is a challenge. But it's not nearly as difficult as finding bargains while you are in the Aloha State, which is why the following deals are so noteworthy.

From now through the end of the year (December 31, 2008) you can take advantage of the Hilton Hawaiian Village Beach Resort & Spa's new Golf & Spa Escape Package.

The luxurious beachfront resort sits in the heart of Waikiki (on the Hawaiian Island of Oahu) and is within walking distance of first-rate shops, restaurants, and other popular Honolulu attractions.

For just $239 per night you'll receive a resort-view room plus one of the following options during your stay:

Option 1: Two rounds of golf at the Hawaii Prince Golf Club, with transportation to and from the course ($160 value per round). The course features 27 holes and is located on the west side of Oahu.

Option 2: Two Mandara Spa 50-minute Grand Journey Treatments with a choice of a massage or a deep-cleansing aromatherapy facial for women and men ($134 value per treatment).

Option 3: One round of golf and one spa treatment.

Golf and spa treatments can be used on separate days and may be used by either one or two guests.

The catch: A four-night minimum stay is required and must be booked at least seven days in advance.

Meanwhile, travelers headed to the Big Island of Hawaii might want to consider the following coupon deal:

Right now the Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort & Spa, Hawaii Forest & Trail and Fair Wind Big Island Ocean Guides are teaming up to offer cash-strapped tourists a way to leave the state without going broke.

Simply pick up a Triple Dip coupon at one of the participating businesses (Sheraton Keauhou Bay, Hawaii Forest & Trail and Fair Wind) and start saving.

The Triple Dip coupon is redeemable for free T-shirts at Hawaii Forest & Trail or Fair Wind locations when you spend $25 or more at either activity company's gift shop.

At the Sheraton Keauhou Bay, the coupon will get you 50% off a second coffee or Power Blendz or a complimentary glass of house wine with any entree purchase at the resort's popular eatery, Kai.

The Triple Dip coupons are valid until December 23, 2008. Each offer may be redeemed only once per day, but the coupon may be reused multiple times during your stay.
