When I was in college word got around fast that I was from Hawaii. (Probably because I was attending school in Wisconsin.) Looking back it made total sense. In a recent blog about the Florida Keys I included the drive times between Key Largo and the closest major international airport. (It’s more than an hour.) But, this week Delta Airlines made a big announcement that could bring a smile to the faces of all you snowbirds and spring breakers. After a six-year absence, commercial air service is returning to Marathon, Florida, a city of 11,000 people located between Key Largo and Key West.
