If you were waiting until Hurricane Irene left the country to make your Labor Day travel plans, time's up.

DoubleTree by Hilton is offering AAA members 20% off the best available rates at more than 250 locations nationwide. However, you must book your stay by August 31 and travel between September 1 and November 30, 2011. Enter code "PBA" when reserving your room.

The Omni Orlando Resort ChampionsGate in Orlando, Florida, near Disney World is letting you end the summer with a bang. The hotel is offering $99 rooms during the Labor Day weekend. Access to the resort's pool is worth that much in and of itself. The splashtastic amenity is 15 acres and includes a lazy river, a 150-foot waterslide, a family pool, and a quiet adults-only pool. In addition, the hotel is hosting a Weekend Splash Party complete with poolside races, scavenger hunts, DJs spinning summer tunes, and "dive-in" movies.

Travaasa Austin in Austin, Texas, has a fabulous Labor Day deal. The Sunrise package includes room accommodations and breakfast, plus culinary workshops, dual zip-line rides and horseback riding, as well as access to the world-class spa, dance lessons and a mechanical bull-riding workout for just $189 per night.

Casa Madrona Hotel and Spa in Sausalito, California has a deal for art-centric frugalistas. The hotel is offering a special to coincide with the Sausalito Art Festival on Labor Day weekend. For just $177 per night you will be treated to an amazing room at the boutique property which delivers picturesque views of San Francisco Bay. You will also receive gift certificates to two favorite local restaurants: $30 to use at CIBO and a whopping $100 worth of free food at Sushi Ran.
