It is chock full of PG-rated fun and attracts thousands to Castro St. between Market and 19th streets. Along with the miles of craft booths there is a slew of food and clothing vendors displaying their wares. Yummy treats aside this neighborhood celebration is known for its showcase of dancers who strut their stuff at the dozens … Continue reading

What to Know Before You Go—San Francisco

Now that you know where to go when you arrive in San Francisco it’s helpful to know what NOT to do while you are visiting the northern California hot spot. Show producers say an ambulance was called and Hough was taken away on a stretcher as a precaution and sent to a nearby hospital for tests. Fortunately, doctors say the 22-year-old … Continue reading

Hollywood’s Winners and Losers

Let’s start with the losers… When Penn Jillette got the boot from “Dancing with the Stars” last week he wasn’t the only one who went home a loser. His comedy-and-magic partner Teller lost $5,000 betting on his big-footed buddy. After the live results show aired Teller told reporters (yes, he actually talked) that he had placed a bet on Jillette in Vegas with the hopes that the loud-mouthed magician would go all the way on the sixth season of the mega-popular ABC dance competition. According to Vegas bookies, as of last week the odds against Jillette were 30-1 so Teller … Continue reading
