A Great Guide For Your Hawaiian Vacation

A number of Families.com members have commented that they will soon be embarking on vacations to Hawaii. All I can say is: "WAH-Take me with you." Yes, I am jealous, but at the same time, I am thrilled that you will get to partake in all that the Islands have to offer. There are many reasons Hawaii is called the "Jewel of the Pacific." (See my many travel blogs on the Aloha State for several of them.) Another way you can learn about the opportunities that await you in paradise is to pick up the "Aloha Book."

The "Aloha Book" is a complimentary guide to Hawaii's unique cultural events, historical sites and top island adventures. It is available through ResortQuest Hawaii-a company which operates 28 hotels and resort condominiums on the islands of Oahu, Maui, Kauai and Hawaii. The book is packed with dining, shopping, entertainment, and golf deals and provides a useful guide to some of the state's best restaurants, museums and other must-see island attractions.

The book's information is categorized according to island and is easy to read. Once you decide what attraction you want to visit you can plan your day accordingly and tour at your own pace.

Some of the book's 98 Oahu attractions include: Iolani Palace, Bishop Museum, Shark Adventures, Pearl Harbor, Punchbowl, and Ala Moana Shopping Center. The book offers details on 51 attractions on Maui, including Hana Cultural Center, Maui's Sugar Museum, Bailey House Museum, Maui Historical Society (Museum), Wailea Golf Club and Kaanapali Golf Courses. On Kauai: the Historic Waimea Theatre, Gay and Robinson Sugar Plantation, Bali Hai Restaurant and Waimea Brewing Co. And on the Big Island: Waipio Valley, Hawaii Tropical Botanical Gardens, Rainbow Falls, Hapuna Beach, Lyman Museum, Parker Ranch Museum and Visitor Center, Waikoloa Golf Club and Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut Factory.
